Our Lady of Lourdes Adult Choir

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Choir is a group serving God and the people of Our Lady of Lourdes Church through music at the 9:30am Sunday Mass on the second and fourth Sundays of the month and special occasions.  The choir, which sings a wide range of music past and present, is open to all men and women of high school age and up. No previous knowledge of music is required! Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30pm, September through June, in the Duck Room. Join us as we begin this jubilee year as MINISTERS OF THE WORD THROUGH MUSIC!

OLL Contemporary Ensemble

The Contemporary Ensemble is a group that sings and plays strictly modern church music. This group would be used mostly at the 11:30 AM masses. Membership is open to all. This group uses such instruments as guitar, bass, percussion, and winds. All voice parts are included as well. Membership would count towards Confirmation service hours. Contact John Ondrey for membership and rehearsal information.
 
OLL Instrumentalists

The OLL Instrumentalists would be featured on the first Sunday of every month. The group would also augment any special occasions and holidays. Membership is open to ALL regardless of age. However we do ask that prospective members have ample experience in playing their respective instrument. Instruments needed would be all instruments needed in a traditional orchestra ensemble. Our Lady of Lourdes Children’s Choir

The Our Lady of Lourdes Children’s Choir ministers to parishioners at the 9:30am Mass on the third Sunday of the month.  The group is open to all boys and girls in grades K-8.  Combined rehearsal for all grades on Monday afternoons from 4:15 - 5:15pm in the church. 
Choir vacancies are now being filled!

 

Cantor Guild
The Cantor Guild consists of cantors who assist at various Masses.  The cantor’s primary responsibility includes singing the responsorial psalm, the gospel acclamation, and other responsorial music.  If you are interested in joining, please contact Mary Ann Harmer for an audition.
