• Choir Members - Members of the various choirs (Adult, Contemporary and Children) lead Masses in song on a scheduled basis. They also sing during the Holy Week Services, at Christmas, and at other special services. Generally, rehearsals are held weekly. The young, and not so young, are encouraged to join.
• Environment and Art Committee - Committee members enrich the worship space of our community with liturgically appropriate decorations. The committee arranges flowers, hangs banners and provides ideas for the church environment.
• Extraordinary Minsters of Holy Communion - serve the body and blood of Christ to the community. A total of fifteen are need each weekend. Visitors to the sick, homebound and group residences are also needed. Eucharistic Ministers must be fully initiated and be 18 years of age to share in this ministry. • Hospitality Volunteers - This group of volunteers assist with the hospitality after the 9:30am Mass each Sunday. Roles include set-up, clean-up and assisting with serving the coffee and … As this social is held each Sunday, volunteers are needed on a regular basis.
• Lectors - Lectors bring the Word of God alive for the assembly. Two lectors are needed at each Eucharistic celebration. One lector reads the first Scripture reading and processes in with the Lectionary. A second lector reads the second reading and the Prayers of the Faithful. Lectors should have a clear voice. • Sacristans - Sacristans are in-charge of the sacristy and its furnishings as well as ensuring that everything is prepared for weekend liturgies. Duties include preparing the gifts for Mass and ensuring the altar area is furnished for Mass
• Ministers of Hospitality/Ushers - Ushers welcome people, distribute worship aids, assist late arrivals to locate a seat, take up the collection and hand out bulletins. A minimum of four ushers is needed at each of the Sunday liturgies. Click here for Minister of Hospiality/Usher Handbook.
