“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations....  Teach them to carry out everything I have commanded you.  And know that I am with you always, until the end of the world.”  (Matthew 28:19a, 20)

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we at Our Lady of Lourdes Church commit ourselves to the mission entrusted to us by Jesus in the above challenge, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations...”  We believe that parents have the primary responsibility to educate their children in the faith.  Therefore, our program is designed to assist parents in this responsibility by providing formal religious education for children and young adults.  Both catechists and parents strive to empower our children to grow in their knowledge and love of God, as well as in their understanding of our faith and their ability and desire to live their lives in response to God’s love.  The presence of all children with their families at Sunday Mass expresses this Catholic Christian way of life and builds the body of Christ in our parish.

Confirmation Prep Program
Confirmation at Our Lady of Lourdes is a 3 year process, beginning in the 7th grade, and culminating in the Sacrament of Confirmation, which is received in the 9th grade.
