elcome to the On Line portion of the Parish Community of Our Lady of Lourdes in Mountainside, NJ.  It is our hope that the information you gather from these pages will enable you to know better who we are as a parish community and how we work to proclaim the Lord Jesus in our midst.

In his letter for the World Day of Communications in May 2010, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, invites us and encourages us to "to utilize (modern technology) in a positive way and to realize the great potential of these means to build up bonds of friendship and solidarity that can contribute to a better world. “
The Holy Father continues: "Employ these new technologies to make the Gospel known, so that the Good News of God’s infinite love for all people, will resound in new ways across our increasingly technological world!"

Whether you are a member of our community since its beginning in 1958, someone new to our community, or someone just surfing the net, we welcome you to come and see how we live the gospel message.  Look through these pages and contact us if you need more information.  Or better still, come by and say hello!

The deadline for submission of information you would like included in the weekly bulletin is Tuesday at 12 noon at the Parish Office. This includes all articles for the bulletin and any requests for flyers. Please note that there is a limited amount of space and parish announcements/news take precedence over non-parish events. Also, we limit the number of flyers in the bulletin to no more that two a week. There will be no exceptions!
